Project Zomboid is developed and published by The Indie Stone Ltd. This
website and this server are independent and are not affiliated with, endorsed,
sponsored, licensed or approved by The Indie Stone Ltd. or any of its partners. A copy
of the game, bought from its own retailer, is required to play here — we do not sell,
distribute or provide the game.
03No affiliation with any film, book or brand
“Dawn of the Dead” is used here as the name of a player community, chosen for the
genre it plays in. This server and website are not affiliated with, endorsed by or
connected to any motion picture, franchise, novel, television series, game or commercial
brand of the same or a similar name, nor with any of their rights holders. All trademarks
and copyrights remain the property of their respective owners.
04Third-party services
Our community chat runs on Discord, operated by Discord Inc. The game is
distributed on Steam, operated by Valve Corporation. Mods and Workshop content
belong to their individual authors and are used under their own terms. We are not
affiliated with any of them, and following a link to their platforms puts you under
their terms and privacy policies, not ours.
05What we show about players
While you are connected, this site may publicly display your in-game display name,
an approximate map location, and how long you have been online. Nothing else: no
account identifiers, no IP address, no inventory, no safehouse. Positions are refreshed on
a timer and are deliberately imprecise. Open a ticket in 📞｜support and your pin and roster entry are removed — no reason needed.
06The server is provided as-is
This is a hobby server run by volunteers, offered as-is and as-available, with
no guarantee of uptime, data retention or progress — though we do our best
to keep it running.
07Donations — no advantage is for sale
Donations pay for hosting. They do not buy an advantage. Contributions are
voluntary and go toward server hosting, backups and running costs. Access to the server is
free and is never gated behind payment.
We do not sell, and do not grant in exchange for a donation, anything that affects
gameplay: no boosted stats or experience, no exclusive weapons, vehicles, ammunition or
supplies, no priority spawns or loot, no safehouse advantage, no queue priority and no
moderator powers. Nobody can pay to be stronger than you.
What supporters receive is commissioned artwork made outside the game and
recognition in our Discord — not in-game content.
08Reporting a problem
If anything here infringes your rights, if you want your name removed from this page, or
if you have a complaint about how the server is run, open a ticket in
📞｜support on our Discord (discord.gg/dawnpz). Tickets are tracked, so a
request cannot be lost in chat. We act on legitimate requests promptly.
